The situation escalated when the Muslim worshippers attacked the rider, damaging his source of income and threatening his life. The rider managed to escape the mob’s fury by seeking refuge in a nearby shop.
Calls have been made to the Lagos state government to intervene and address the issue to prevent future incidents and ensure the safety of citizens from such violent confrontations.
It is not a new thing to see Muslims go for their usual prayers once it is time. Most of the time, they park their vehicles and leave their shops or wares to go for the prayer.
Due to the high number of worshippers, the building may not accommodate everybody which may mean that some people may stay outside to take part in the worship.
It is might the manner the keke driver talked to them that made them angry to resort to beating him. On the other hand, their action may still be due to another reason which the authorities can unravel if they try to get to the root of the violent incident that would have cost the life of the keke driver…CONTINUE READING>>
