Despite their efforts to trace their parents and other siblings, they were unsuccessful. A good Samaritan took them in and provided them with education up to the level he could afford. They stayed with him until they reached maturity. Paulin stated that he loved his sister and didn’t want to be separated from her.
One day, he asked her to marry him to keep their family together. Initially, she refused, but after a period of 2 months, they planned to relocate to another area where nobody knew their true relationship.
