Having won the FA Cup, the Reds will lock horns with the reigning Premier League champions in the annual season curtain-raiser. However, the game will take place at Leicester City’s King Power Stadium with Jurgen Klopp’s men denied a fourth visit of the calendar year to Wembley as a result.

Kicking off at 5pm, the game will take place on Saturday 30 July, with the switch of venue due to the Women’s Euro 2022 final being held at Wembley over the same weekend.

Leicester City are the reigning holders after beating Man City 1-0 in last year’s final.
