Wolves have been struggling to remain consistent in performance since the beginning of this season. However, they managed to secure a 3-0 win over Liverpool.
Liverpool won the FA Cup and the EFL Cup last season. The Reds also finished as runners-up in the premier league last season one point behind first placed Manchester City. Liverpool came close to win the UEFA Champions league title last season. Real Madrid ended their hopes of winning the title.
The Reds have netted just six goals in the premier league since the World Cup ended. Faes netted two own goals during Liverpool’s 2-1 win over the Foxes.
Virgil Van Dijk, Mohamed Salah, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Stefan Bajcetic have netted one goal each for Liverpool since the World Cup.
The Reds currently sits 10th on the premier league table following their 3-0 loss to Wolves. Liverpool may be unable to finish top four this season considering their poor performances so far.
