Real Madrid had to beat Manchester City, Chelsea, PSG in the knockout stages to claim a spot in the finals. While Liverpool had to beat Villareal, Benfica and Inter Milan to proceed to the finals.
The current form of both teams has made it hard to there to be a clear favourite to win the title. However, there are four players from both teams that should be watched close in the tie.
The first player is the competition top scorer, Karim Benzema, who has consistently delivered in big games. The Real Madrid’s target man contributed vital goals in the knockout stages.
Another player is the Liverpool top scorer, Salah, who has been consistent in putting the ball at the back of the net this season. He has 8 goals to his name in this competition.
Talking about a big game player for Liverpool is Senegalese star, Sadio Mane. Mane has proven to be a reliable focal point for Liverpool this season. And the fourth player is Brazilian winger, Vinicius, who has consistently served as threat to oppositions defense.
