Chelsea and Barcelona are still vying for his services, even though it would have made the transfer much easier. According to Ben Jacobs, Leeds has given Barcelona till Thursday to present a final offer as they are apparently growing irritated with the deal’s delay.
Since Luis Sinisterra has already taken the role of Raphinha, the Lilywhites are eager to get rid of the Brazilian as soon as possible.
In order to join Chelsea for between €70 and €75 million, Raphinha reportedly had a deal in place, but the player was not yet sold.
The winger has in fact told his agent Deco that he wants to move to Barcelona.
Not to mention that Barcelona probably does not put Raphinha first. In order to strengthen the attack, they want to sign Robert Lewandowski first. However, they still need a winger with a different physique than Ferran Torres and who is more ball-oriented, which is where Raphinha comes in.
