These are the last six Premier League players that win a Ballon D’or

1. Stanley Mattew

Stanley Mattew became the first Premier League to ever win a Ballon d’Or in 1956 at the age of 41. He won this award while playing for the club Blackpool when he helped his club to finish second in the premier League.

2. Dennis Law

Premier League Legend in 1964 became the first Man United player to win a Ballon D’or and 3rd Premier League player to do so, he scored 28 goals that season while his team to win the Premier League trophy that season

3. Bobby Charlton

Bobby Charlton became the second Manchester United player to win a Ballon D’or. 1966 Bobby won a Ballon D’or after winning the World Cup with England. He was one the best Midfielders at that time.

4. George Best

1968 George Best beat his fellow Manchester United teammates Bobby Charlton with 8 points to win the Ballon D’or, George Best became the third Man United player to win the award.

5. Michael Owen – Liverpool (2001)

Michael Owen became the fifth Premier League player to ever win a Ballon d’Or , the forward acknowledged for his role in a season of huge silverware success for Liverpool.

6. Cristiano Ronaldo
