According to the Labour Party Presidential Campaign Council, Ibrahim’s business was destroyed because of her uncompromising position with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The opposition party condemned the attack in a statement released by Yunusa Tanko, the spokesperson for the LP Presidential Campaign Council, on Friday, December 9, 2022.
Tanko recalled that there have been several attacks on Labour Party’s supporters in different parts of the country in recent times.
He said the trend is against the peace accord signed by political parties and candidates at the start of the campaign.
The spokesperson urged the federal government and security agencies to caution those behind the attacks on Labour Party’s supporters across the nation.
Tanko had earlier cautioned that the speech of power grabbing by APC presidential candidate Bola Tinubu in a London restaurant is capable of propelling massive violence in the 2023 general elections.
