There is always a beeping sound when a call begins in situations where one is recording your conversation. This happens when one press or activates the recording feature on their phone.
The beeping sound is quite recognisable as it is very different from background noise. However, sometimes not all beeping sound indicate call being recorded as one may accidentally press any key while on call and the sound will still be heard.
Recording Indicator on your phone
Some phones such as iPhone have a built-in recording indicator that will let you know when someone is recording you. Check on any icon or symbol that appears on screen when on a call.
This feature may not be present on all phones so whenever you suspect the caller then ask them if they are recording you.
Suspicious Behavior during a call
If you notice some unusual behavior from a caller, then probably the person might be recording your call. Some of the unusual behavior include;
– Background noise which may mean the caller is not alone and is trying to record the call for someone else to hear.
– Vague or evasive answers may mean the caller is recording so they are trying to avoid giving direct responses so as not to be directly involved in the issue.
Background Noise or Distortion
The background activities may indicate a lot of things and call recording is among them. Pay attention to the type of background noise so as to understand if it is for call recording or just any other noise caused by other factors.
