The Liverpool star player was taken off after an injury scare in the first half of the English FA Cup Final against Chelsea on Saturday, 14th of May.

Salah limped off in the 33rd moment with a crotch strain, while Van Dijk neglected to show up for extra-time because of a muscle issue.

In addition to missing most of the FA Cup final, there is now doubt that Salah will be available for Liverpool’s last two premier league games and possibly the Champions League Final.

In spite of the fact that Klopp said that Salah is probably not going to play against Southampton on Tuesday, he was more hopeful about the full degree of his wound, being that the wound does not seem too serious and the player will be alright.

Klopp said, “In any case, I think they are okay, it was to a greater extent a safety measure. Mo felt something, said I could continue and I needed to go with a choice, I said no… assuming you’re feeling something on the pitch, it won’t get better [if you keep playing], remaining on isn’t the most ideal treatment!”
