There a lot of factors that have played a role in the unfortunate turn of events in the EPL for Arsenal and Mikel Arteta and here are some of them;

1. Martinelli poor form

The Brazilian winger has not been at his best in recent weeks, the goals and assists seem to have dried up for the Player and this has also affected Arsenal’s goalscoring from which has led to them dropping points in the last 3 League games.

2. Nketiah goalscoring blank

Yes, Arsenal knew they were not expecting lots of goals from Nketiah since the Player replaced the injured Gabriel Jesus in the starting lineup as striker but the attacker should at least level up a bit. His goalscoring form has been far and in between his continuous blank in front of goal has also contributed to Arsenal’s recent slump in form in the EPL.

3. Mikel Arteta’s selection

Yes, consistency is good especially for a team looking to win the title but Mikel Arteta’s constant selection of almost the same starting lineup game in game out is now having a serious toll on Arsenal hence the recent drop in from. Most of the Players are beginning to get fatigued.
