According to Sikika Road Safety, a Kensilver bus crashed leaving several individuals feared injured and others dead. Sikika Road Safety provided a firsthand glimpse into the aftermath of the Nithi Bridge tragedy as it displayed a bus badly ruined.
They further reported the potential death of around seven lives and the injuries sustained by survivors especially on the legs, hands and head. They acknowledge the efforts of Tharaka Nithi emergency services and thanked them. 
This tragic accident has increased the nation’s statistics on the daily accidents occuring in different places. Before the Nithi Bridge accident today, another distressing accident involving trucks occurred earlier in the morning along the Nakuru-Eldoret Highway at Timboroa.
The frequency of such incidents has sparked concerns from Kenyans. Latest statistics reveal that over one thousand lives have been lost to road accidents since the beginning of the year.
