In a disheartening turn of events, a Kenyan man recently experienced a rude awakening after eagerly preparing for a job interview, only to discover that the entire process was an elaborate Ponzi scheme.
The unsuspecting individual @mu.dutchie, who had hoped for a promising career opportunity, was disillusioned and frustrated as he realised that his time and efforts had been in vain.
Rising before the break of dawn, the Kenyan man’s determination and enthusiasm were palpable as he readied himself for what he believed to be a potential breakthrough in his career.
Eager to make a positive impression, he left his home at 4 am, armed with his qualifications and hopes for a brighter future.
Unbeknownst to him, this day would become an unfortunate chapter in his job-seeking journey.
In the job advertisement, he revealed they had stated his work would be to arrange the office and organise schedules for KSh 1,800 a day.
The young man disclosed that one of the requirements for the job was a National ID, and he had forgotten it at home.
The interview, which was happening in CBD, had him going back to Rongai for the ID to submit it.
When he finally got to the ‘interview’, he realised it was a ponzi scheme.
