Tragically, Godfrey Mapesa’s life was cut short in a devastating road accident that occurred at Mwamba in Lugari on Sunday, April 4.
Having contested for the Lumakanda ward representative seat in 2022 under the UDA ticket, Mapesa had endeavoured to serve his community with dedication and passion.

Despite the hopes and aspirations he held for his constituency, fate had different plans, as he was not elected to the position he sought.
