It is noteworthy that at least 30 individuals were fatally shot in Plateau State during the early hours of Wednesday, when assailants raided Kwahaslalek village in Mangu Local Government Area.

Reports indicate that the victims, predominantly women and children, sought refuge in the home of a local community leader on Tuesday night, amidst previous unrest in Mangu town earlier in the day. Tragically, the gunmen encircled them and executed all of them.

However, in his remarks, the PDP chairman expressed his trust in Mutfwang’s leadership abilities, affirming the governor’s potential to restore the state to its former reputation as the “Home of Peace and Tourism.”
