However, the way Mane’s journey has ended at Liverpool is undoubtedly a big mistake from Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp. Luis Diaz’s arrival brought in the unsettled situation at the club, someone has to leave and Mane has been forced out of his position to accommodate the Colombian man on the left flank.
Diogo Jota who was having a sublime season had to start Liverpool’s games from the bench. It weakened his form and now he’s currently ceasing to function at the club.
If there is any player that should leave in Liverpool’s attack, it has to be Mohamed Salah. He misses more chances and he’s always longing for the ball more than any player.
In the Champions League this season, Salah has the biggest misses, a total number of seven misses in the competition. In the Premier League this season, he missed 17 big chances and scored five penalties.
Mane is a different player he presses so high on the pitch and forces the opposition to lose the ball, this is something that’s extraordinary and Klopp can’t get anyone better than him in that aspect. A decision Liverpool might regret heavily next season.
