Israeli minister: Intensive phase of war in south Gaza ‘will end soon’

The statement from Defense Minister Yoav Gallant indicates that the intensive phase of Israel’s war with Hamas militants in southern Gaza will end soon. The Israeli army had intensified operations in Khan Younis and Rafah after dismantling Hamas’s military structures in the north.

Gallant mentioned that the intensive maneuvering stage was expected to last approximately three months, and it is already reaching its conclusion in the northern Gaza Strip. He expressed that the achievement in southern Gaza will also be reached soon, transitioning to the next phase without specifying a precise time frame.
