According to Tanko Yakasai, he said the national leader of APC was at his place on Thursday and he (Tanko Yakasai) has promised him total support and loyalty.
Recall, sometime last week, Sahara Reporters shared the news that the former governor of Lagos State, Babatunde Raji Fashola says “Tinubu Hasn’t Informed Me He’s Running For 2023 Presidency.”
By informing Alhaji Tanko Yakasai, does this mean that Bola Tinubu presidential campaign will begin in the North too? The Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) is a political and cultural association of leaders in Northern Nigeria formed in 2000 which has considerable influence in the political scene.
A different campaign group has been set up by lovers of Bola Tinubu in the South and so many political leaders from the southeast and the southwest has been sensitizing the general public about the 2023 Presidential election.
Since Alhaji Tanko Yakasai is an elder statesman and a political icon in the northern region, it is expected that many northerners will rise to support Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the forthcoming election.
