Nakuru County Commander who has been identified as, Mr. Samuel Ndanyi said a 14-seater matatu heading towards Eldoret collided with the trailer, which was heading in the opposite direction.
The police boss said one person, a police constable was rushed to Nakuru Teaching and Referral Hospital in a critical condition.
Ndanyi revealed that the ill-fated vehicle was carrying a driver and seven passengers at the time of the collision that Killed other passengers on the spot.
According to the reports given by the police, the victims of the said road accident have been identified as Mary Achieng, 15, Bryden Rowlings, 6, Dylan Castro, 1, Godfrey Omwocha Musioma, 34, Jorum Atandi Musioma, 21, Bundi Nyaribo Isaac, 34, Police are trying to identify the other body.
