Carrie and Craig offered to temporarily care for the adorable twins. But days grew into weeks, and weeks evolved into months, and the girls were easily integrated into the family.
Carrie and Craig’s desire had always been to have children, but they had no idea what a journey lied ahead of them.
After two years of raising the children, Carrie and Craig received a phone call from the girls’ birth mother, who informed them of another terrible circumstance.
She had significant challenges in her life and struggled to make them work. She approached the couple and asked if they would consider adopting her two-year-old twins, Sissy and JJ.
Kanye and Adeline’s biological brother and sister were the young twins. Carrie and Craig, adoptive parents, had to consider their options carefully.
Carrie began to feel uncomfortable a few weeks after introducing Sissy and JJ into the family and realized she wanted to see a doctor.
She was found to be pregnant after an ultrasound. In fact, not one, but two embryos emerged on the screen! This is her and Craig’s third set of twins in five years!
