After several weeks of negotiations between the Eredivisie Champions And Premier League club, the promising winger completed his dream move in the final days of the summer window.

However, the Brazil international went on strike with the Dutch heavyweights and didn’t play in the team’s games, failed to show up for training in order to push through his transfer to the Threatre of Dreams

The highly-rated winger, who could make his United debut against Mikel Arteta’s Gunners in the English top flight on Sunday, has since apologized to Ajax and said that the team will always have a special place in his heart.

‘I felt at home at Ajax. It’s quite tough,’ Antony said in his farewell video to Ajax, which was released this morning.

‘I said goodbye to everyone at the club. From day one, I got an amazing reception, but it is how it is.

I’ll always have this club and the supporters in my heart. They were always there for me, supporting me.

“I want to express my gratitude to my family and this club for making so much possible. Starting here, I was even selected for the Brazil national team.

I’m going to have this club with me for the rest of my life, and I’ll always keep an eye on it.
