Ighalo shared photos and videos of his visit with the widows on Instagram, and the widows were overjoyed to meet the former Manchester United star.
The women hoped that the 32-year-old would not pass away before the end of the year, “since he has practiced pure religion by caring for widows.”
Ighalo is also the founder of the Ighalo Orphanage Home in Lagos.
After the Super Eagles’ World Cup qualifying match against Cape Verde in Lagos on November 16, the ex-Watford player paid a visit to his mother Martina Ighalo.
The Al-Shabab forward returned from retirement to assist the squad in its preparations for the 2022 World Cup playoff games.
