Felt lonely in marriage In a post shared by businesswoman Wairimu Kimani, the distressed woman disclosed that her love story worsened when her husband immersed himself in business. The once devoted and present spouse transformed into a man consumed by work, leaving her feeling abandoned and emotionally neglected.
This absence of romance, dwindling intimacy, and a husband too exhausted for physical connection became the harsh reality of their once vibrant union. “I got tired, and after seeking advice from my friends, I left the marriage early last year,” she indicated.
Regretted leaving marriage What surprised her the most was that her husband did not try to reconcile or salvage their relationship, leaving her yearning for his presence. She rented a small house elsewhere while her two boys remained with their father, and despite regular visits, the estrangement between the couple became more apparent.
“My kids visit a lot. When I ask them how their dad is doing, they say he is doing well. When I ask if there is a woman who comes there, they say Mama Fua pekee, but mchana,” she added.
Desperate to mend her broken marriage, she reached out to her husband, but her pleas were rejected. Hubby recently filed for divorce He remained unresponsive, ignoring her attempts at communication and denying her requests to revisit their shared history.
He doesn’t call or speak with me. Doesn’t even care. I regret leaving my marriage. I’m depressed and even more lonely,” she continued.
To make matters worse, she has been barred from going to his businesses, and efforts to send his father, pastors, and friends have been futile.
