According to Rose, her underprivileged background was the basis of affair with the 57 year old man while she was barely turning 20.
During a recent online engagement, Rose narrated her decade-long trauma while thinking that she will end up in riches.
She kicked off by revealing that she grew up in the hands of her grandmother who also had other children to take care of.
Rose didn’t know the whereabouts of her parents, she learned they had died when she was still young.
Now, when she was about to exit teenage hood, she heard about this job opening in a white man’s home.
They needed a nanny and she opted to give it a try in order to make ends meet.
However, there was an impediment, her tribe- Kikuyu, was an outright way out of the job as stated by her lead.
so when she presented herself, she lied not belonging to the community which were branded ‘thieves’.
It so happened that her documents were still being processed meaning her identity card wasn’t ready.
Luckily, she got the job and worked as a peon or rather a day laborer.
Rose further disclosed that things started going haywire when she moved in with the old man.
The man was living with his parents together with his teenage daughter. They also had a relative who was abled-differently and needed extra care.
The man’s ex-girlfriend was also living a stone-throw away.
This happened so quick, the man’s parents and his daughter were travelling abroad for about three months.
The team that was staying behind was the 57 year old man and the relative who was abled differently.
The handicapped chap had his caregiver who had just taken off due to unknown reasons.
Rose was later talked out into stepping in which she did.
The old man had started wooing her claiming that he had had a rough time with women and wanted to make it right with her.
Without a single thought, Rose swallowed the line, hook and sinker.
The man shared his wish of not having more kids with Rose also affirming her love not to have kids at the moment.
What followed next was her being set on contraceptives for a straight six years not knowing she was damaging her reproductive system.
She was also not supposed to fatten with her food being ‘measured’ which almost sent her to an early grave due to malnutrition.
She thought her life would change which was totally wrong, her kinsmen weren’t even welcome at the palatial home.
Laying her hands on money was also an abomination.
Though she looked happy on the outside while driving pricy vehicles, she was totally empty from the inside.
Her infertility woes further took a nosedive when the old man okayed the surgical removal of her tube.
“I said you have your daughter I’m now about to turn 27 and I have nothing I really would like to have a baby of my own now, this man had friends who were doctors and they decided to my tubes should be removed and after that it became almost impossible for me to conceive” she asserted partly.
It happened that she wanted a reversal of the process which was effected.
However, it later turned out that she had clogged fallopian tubes from the longevity use of contraceptives.
Still, the surgical process wasn’t necessary like Rose later learnt.
Her situation is also behind her move of going for a man who already has children from his previous relationship.
