The plane carrying the President, First Lady Rachel Ruto and their entourage touched down at Joshua Nkomo International Airport shortly after 4pm local time.
Ruto was received by his host President Emmerson Mnangagwa. The Kenyan leader received a 21-gun salute and a guard of honour mounted by Zimbabwe Defence Forces at the airport.
Ruto and his wife will be hosted for a State Dinner by President Mnagangwa at State House, Bulawa on Friday evening and President Ruto will be the Chief Guest at the 64th Zimbabwe International Trade Fair in Bulawayo on Saturday.
