According to TMZ, the 54-year-old actor was found dead in a jacuzzi at a Los Angeles-area home on Saturday.
It was reported that the actor purportedly died from an apparent drowning.
It was also gathered from sources that no drugs were found at the scene, and foul play is not suspected in his passing.
Perry acted alongside costars Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, and David Schwimmer in the hit TV series ‘Friends’ which earned him an Emmy nomination in 2002.
Mr Ibu’s Ex-Manager Debunks Reports Of Actor’s Death
Meanwhile, a former manager of veteran actor, John Okafor, popularly known as Mr Ibu, Chochoo has debunked rumours that the actor is dead.
Chochoo, in an interview with Daily Trust, said contrary to the news making rounds on social media the actor who is currently ill is alive.
He further stated that Mr Ibu is expected to go for surgery on Saturday or early Sunday morning.
