Quoting Mr Richard Keys
“Here’s one to keep an eye on. What I’m about to say will be met with the usual rebuttals – big how many times have we been proved right in this blog?
“I keep hearing Chelsea want to go again – and build an English spine through their team. The new owners will want to make a statement and this might just be it.”
He then floated a few interesting names, including Maguire and Kane as well as Declan Rice.
It is no news that Chelsea who will be under new regime very soon will be busy in the upcoming summer transfer window as they look to bolster their team.
We all know that the defence is one of the main areas the club will be working to strengthen in the summer, so it is only normal that a name like Harry Maguire will pop up as one of their potential singings.
But in reality, chances of that deal happening is very slim and highly unlikely. Not one source at the club has mentioned the name Harry Maguire as a potential signing.
Some of the names we’ve heard are: Jules Kounde, Pau Torres, Wesley Fofana, Gvardiol and Kalidou Koulibaly amongst others.
It will be incredibly difficult to see Chelsea going out for the Manchester United captain who has had a horrendous season personally and collectively as a team member of the Red Devils.
So, if there’s any Chelsea fan who is worried that the Blues could sign Harry Maguire, then he/she has nothing to be worried about.
Credible sources at Chelsea have not mentioned Harry Maguire as a potential target and this is only an alleged interest from Richard Key’s opinion.
