Arsenal signed Gabriel Jesus from Manchester City, Manchester City signed Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund, Chelsea signed Raheem Sterling from Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur added Brazilian National Richarlison to their squad while Liverpool paid a club record fee to get Darwin Nunez from Benfica.
Manchester United is the only club among the top 6 EPL clubs that is yet to sign a Forward this summer and it doesn’t look the Red Devils are going to sign any as they hope to cling unto Cristiano Ronaldo who is still keen or parting ways with the Red Devils this summer.
Most of the Forwards signed by the EPL top 6 have scored goals for their Club in the Pre-season. Erling Haaland scored a goal for Manchester City just twelve minutes into his debut last weekend against Bayern Munich.
Gabriel Jesus has been the most prolific among the lots as the Brazilian National has scored 4 goals in 4 appearances for Arsenal. He scored two goals on his Arsenal debut against Nurnberg. He scored another Goal against Everton in a friendly game. He was also on target against Chelsea in Orlando, Florida.
Darwin Nunez has also gotten over his initial struggles in Liverpool jersey as he scored 4 goals against Rb Leipzig last Thursday. Then, there’s Raheem Sterling and Richarlison who are still running dry at their new clubs.
Raheem Sterling made his Chelsea against Charlotte FC but he couldn’t score a goal. He also featured against Arsenal and ended up without a goal. Richarlison featured for Tottenham Hotspur against K-League XI, Sevilla and Rangers but he hasn’t been able to score any goal.
