Todd Boehly the new club’s owner is expected to give Thomas Tuchel a significant backing in terms of transfer funds. This will be necessary as the Blues have already lost some of their key players after contracts expired.
Few weeks ago, Tuchel’s Chelsea announced the departure of German highlyrated center back, Antonio Rudiger who joined Barcelona. Today, the club’s fans have bid goodbye to Denmark’s top defender, Andreas Christensen. The player was also out of contract with the Blues and is set to take the next step in his career.
The player has already agreed a deal with Spanish top club, FC Barcelona and is set to be officially announced soon. Christensen has been key to Chelsea’s chase for silverware in the past few years and his departure has come as a blow.
