Arsenal have agreed personal terms with Gabriel Jesus, according to Football Insider. The Brazilian has been heavily linked with a reunion with Arteta, having played under him at Manchester City when he was assistant manager.

The 25-year-old is currently away on international duty, where his agent said a decision will be made upon his return.

Left-back interest

Arsenal have joined the race to sign Benfica left-back Alex Grimaldo, according to Portuguese outlet A Bola. The former Barcelona youth product has impressed for the club, drawing potential transfer interest with just one-year remaining on his deal.

Benfica are said to have set an asking price of roughly £17million, while Newcastle are also in the race.

Jose Mourinho eyes Arsenal star

Jose Mourinho has already shown plenty of interest in Arsenal players at AS Roma, linked with Granit Xhaka and loaning Ainsley Maitland-Niles in January. Following that, Calciomercato reports that the manager is eyeing a move for Hector Bellerin.

The 27-year-old has just returned from a loan spell at Real Betis in Spain.
