Arsenal have reportedly secured the signing of Rice from West Ham for a fee of £105 million. The England International will help strengthen Arsenal’s midfield positions next season, he has established himself as one of the best defensive midfielders in the world.
Manchester City were also interested in signing Declan Rice but Pep Guardiola’s side left the race after West Ham increased their asking price.
The Gunners were willing to pay the fee needed to sign Rice as they look to prepare for the 2023/2024 season. Rice is expected to form an impressive midfield partnership with Martin Odegaard and Kai Havertz at Arsenal next season.
