Karim Adeyemi’s impressive display in the Champions League final certainly will have put him on the radar of top clubs around Europe following claims that Borussia Dortmund are willing to sell the forward this summer.

The Germany international’s blistering pace was an ever-present headache for Dani Carvajal and although he was unable to guide his side to glory at Wembley Stadium, Adeyemi will leave England with his head held high – and potentially with the chance to return this summer.

Manchester United were previously interested in the 22-year-old and attempted to hijack his initial deal from RB Salzburg to Dortmund in 2022, but their approach came too late and the versatile forward had already given his word to the Bundesliga side.

If United do opt to re-pursue Adeyemi then the opportunity to strike a swap deal for his services will emerge, with Jadon Sancho currently out on loan at Dortmund and hoping to return to the Signal Iduna Park outfit on a permanent basis this summer.

With three goals and one assist in 21 league appearances, Adeyemi is far from the finished product at this stage and may not have the most premium of price tags. However, Dortmund coughed up £33million to secure his services previously and will want to make a fair profit on their initial investment….CONTINUE READING THE FULL ARTICLE>>>
