Here are the Five most important goals in the club’s history;
1. Didier Drogba Vs Bayern Munich): Didier Drogba was named Man of the match as Chelsea defeated Bayern Munich in 2012 to win their first-ever Champions league trophy.
Drogba Equalized with a thumping header in the 83rd minute after Thomas Muller has given Bayern Munich the lead, his goal pushed the game to extra time and Chelsea won in a penalty shootout with Drogba scoring the decisive penalty.
2. Kai Havertz Vs Manchester City: Kai Havertz was the hero as Chelsea secured their second champions league title, the German attacker picked a through ball from Mason Mount and rounded off Ederson to score the only goal of the match toward the end of the first half.
3. Kai Havertz Vs Palmeiras: Havertz scored in the 117th minute of the Club World Cup finals against Palmeiras to help Chelsea win their first-ever Club World Cup trophy. The youngster slotted home from the Spot in the dramatic 2-1 victory.
4. Fernando Torres Vs Barcelona: The Spanish international scored late in the game to secure Chelsea’s aggregate win against Barcelona in the 2012 champions league semi-finals, they blues were trailing by 2 goals and were on the brink of elimination but Ramires and Fernando Torres equalized to send Chelsea to the finals.
Torres picked a long ball from Ashley Cole he ran till he was face to face with Valdes and he made no mistake in his dribbling and shooting.
5. Didier Drogba Vs Liverpool: Drogba scored the second goal in Chelsea’s 2-1 over Liverpool in the 2012 Fa cup finals, without him, Andy Carroll’s late goal would have been an equalizer rather than a consolation, and Chelsea might not have won the double that year.
