The winner of the Premier League would take home an amount of GHS 300,000 and the second placed team taking GHS200,000. The third placed team would also GHS 80,000.
This was revealed by the Ghana Football Association President during the launching of the League. The event took place at the Accra Conference Center on Friday, September 2nd, 2022.
Moreover, the league winner is expected to receive 40 gold medals, the second team would also receive 40 silver medals. A total of 30 bronze medals will be given to the 3rd placed team.
Ghana’s local league has been given a financial boost by BetPawa Company after they injected an amount of $6,000,000 to be named as headline sponsor. They will be headline sponsor of Ghana’s League for the next three years.
It was also made known that half of the said amount would go into promotion and marketing of the league.
Ghana’s Football leaders have already announced other forms of sponsorship for the Premier League, Division One League and the other lower leagues.
The BetPawa Premier League will take place on the second weekend of September,2022.
