The Mirror claims that Duilio Monteiro Alves, the President the Brazilian Club, Corinthians told the press that he is watching the Ronaldo situation with keen interest as he wants to sign the player to play for his club.
The fact is that Ronaldo’s main grouse with staying in the Manchester United is the fact that the club did not qualify for the Champions League which makes Corinthian interest in him absolutely ridiculous if not downright disrespectful.
It appears like Alves was speaking with his tongue in cheek or he is just a fan of Ronaldo voicing out a fantasy. Cristiano Ronaldo will definitely not consider such an offer at this stage in his career.
Even though talks of Ronaldo leaving Old Trafford are dying down, fans are not very sure he will not leave the club at the eleventh hour when they least expect it.
But as things stand, Ronaldo will very likely stay in Manchester United at least for this season.
