The first half ended in a goalless draw. The visitors dominated the game all through but lacked the creativity and cutting edge in the final third, while the host had better chances in front of goal but failed to find the back of the net.

In the second half, Martin Odegaard broke the deadlock for Arsenal in the 54th minutes, assisted by Fabio Vieira and in the 75th minutes, the Norwegian added the second goal for Mikel Arteta’s side after Jose Sa parried away Gabriel Martinelli’s effort and he fired home the rebound to seal all three points for Arsenal.
