At the Etihad Stadium, Manchester City won their match against Southampton by a score of 4-0. On the other hand, Newcastle United had a night full of scoring opportunities, which resulted in an easy 5-1 victory for the home team over Brentford.

Tottenham Hotspur, just like every other major team, edged out Brighton and Hove Albion by the narrowest of margins to secure a win that was extremely important.
