Burnley hosted Leicester City at the Turf Moor, and it was an interesting encounter between both teams. Ahead of this game, none of the team was tagged as the favourites, as they were both equally matched.
When the game started in the first half, it was Leicester who were in control, as they dominated Burnley in all ramifications, and didn’t even give them any breathing space.
Even though the first half ended with no goal scored by both teams, Leicester created many big chances of which if they had at least converted one of them, they could have easily taken the lead.
In the second half, Leicester still kept on pressure by attacking the Burnley goal, and creating chances, but the goal still refused to come. Towards the ending of the game, in the 82nd minute, Leicester’s James Maddison scored an amazing goal to give them a 1-0 lead.
Later on in the 90th minute, Jamie Vardy scored another goal to extend Leicester’s lead to 2-0, and that was how the match ended with Leicester beating Burnley.
Final EPL Table After Yesterday’s Game.
