Here are signs from your feet that you body is trying to tell you something about the state of your health.

1. Dry, flaky skin. Aesthetically this is not very appealing it may be due to cold weather, dehydration, frequent use of harsh soaps or swimming in chlorinated water and improves with change in lifestyle. If it does not improve it may be a sign you have a thyroid condition possibly hypothyroidism in which you thyroid is not producing enough hormones.

2. Losing hair on your feet. Hair on your toes may be more visible in men than women. The lose of hair could indicate poor blood flow. This condition is known as peripheral artery disease and it is usually reversible with changes in lifestyle.

3. Numbness in your feet. Maybe be normal but once it’s frequent and last for long it may a health problem. It is also another sign of Peripheral artery disease which could be due to type 2 diabetes.

4. Black spots under your toes. If this occurs without any prior injury you might want to seek medical attention immediately. Dermatologist believe it is due to some form of skin cancer.

5. Morning foot pain. This may be due to inflammation of your foot joints, ligaments or muscle strain.
