Xavi’s club has been linked with a move to sign Sevilla’s Jules Kounde and they are closing in on securing the services of the youngster.
A report from The Sun claims that Gerard Romero claims FC Barcelona and Sevilla have reached an agreement to sign 23-year-old Jules Kounde.
Gerard Romero tweeted: “This morning FC Barcelona and Sevilla have reached an agreement principle for Jules Kounde.
“The operation is closed by 99 percent, except for a cataclysm in the next few hours, the central defender of Sevilla will be a culer [Barcelona player].”
In other news, Chelsea FC is also keeping an eye on Jules Kounde, as he was heavily expected to sign a five-year deal in West London worth just £150,000 per week.
