After going 11 games without a victory, Everton chose to fire Lampard and bring in Sean Dyche, the former manager of Burnley.

On Saturday, Dyche led the team to victory over Arsenal at Goodison Park.

Although the former Brighton striker likes Frank Lampard, he claimed Sean Dyche is acting in a distinctive manner.

“It’s difficult to say (what has changed), as I enjoyed my interactions with Frank.

“In my opinion, Sean Dyche offers something unique. When a new manager is hired, there is an increased level of vigor because everyone wants to prove that they are up to the task.

Everyone was running and pressing every day during the first training session, which made the entire week physically taxing.

“The team has quality, but there are occasions when you need more than that. You must sprint; you must have heart. There are still more games to play, but that’s a solid start, he remarked.
