The former Blues midfielder arrived at the Emirates Stadium on the final day of the transfer window after news broke that Mohamed Elneny will miss the remainder of the campaign due to a knee injury.
However, Thomas Partey who was forced off in the game against Pep Guardiola’s City in the FA Cup, is expected to shake off his injury to make the starting XI for the match against the Toffees.
We expect Jorginho to start on the bench here, with Granit Xhaka resuming his effective partnership the Ghana international in a deep lying role alongside Odegaard.
Elsewhere, Gabriel Jesus remains unavailable, but has made progress in recent weeks & is expected to be fit again in the coming weeks, Emile Smith Rowe will miss out, while Reiss Nelson could return to the bench after recovering from a thigh injury.
Trossard had a great game versus Man City the last time out in his first outing for the North Londoners, but Mikel Arteta could stick to the front trio of Gabriel Martinelli, Eddie Nketiah and Bukayo Saka.
William Saliba & Gabriel Magalhaes will be recalled in the heart of defence at the expense of Rob Holding, while the left & right roles will be occupied by Ben White and Zinchenko with Ramsdale replacing Matt Turner in goal.
