Although, the toffees aren’t a strong enough side to pose any threat to the Gunners Mikel Arteta should have still played the Italian International to see how he fits into the team.
Thomas Partey should have been dropped for him to come in as I believe Jorginho is more effective holding midfielder than the Ghanaian International.
Jorginho might play passively most of the time but he offers a lot with his precise passes and space creation for his teammates to come in cause damage to the opponents.
Morever, today’s match will be the perfect opportunity to see Jorginho capabilities as Everton plays aggressively and with him in the midfield he would be able to nullify the pressure against his side.
