While speaking to the press ahead of Man United’s game against Nottingham Forest, the Dutch coach noted that Lisandro Martinez has played in midfield before, and he may be deployed they soon. In his words he stated;
“He did it before [for Ajax]. This is also one thing that me as a manager, you have to be creative in certain situations when in other departments you have players who can’t be starting XI players.”
While reacting to his statement, many people noted that Lisandro Martinez is capable of playing anywhere in the team and they believe in his abilities.
United takes on Nottingham Forest today, and they will be hoping to get a win over Neil Warnock’s team.
