1. Arsenal

The Gunners maintained their lead at the top of the table despite losing by a lone goal away to Everton at Goodison Park, no thanks to a James Tarkowski header.

The Gunners still have a five points lead and a game in hand, against second place Manchester City who also lost to Tottenham Hotspur.

2. Manchester City

The Cityzens lost by a lone goal away against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, which becomes their fourth loss of the season.

They loss sees the gap between them and neighbours Manchester United reduce to just three points while still trailing Arsenal by five points.

3. Manchester United

The Red Devils survived a scare at the hands of Crystal Palace at Old Trafford on Saturday, when the Eagles came roaring back at them when Casemiro was sent off for violent conduct.

United were comfortably leading 2-0 but after Casemiro was issued a red card, the visitors pulled one back through a Jefferey Schlupp flick which changed the trajectory of the game.

But Erik ten Hag’s men stood firm and came out with the much needed three points in the game, which sees them move up to third on the table.

4. Newcastle United

The Magpies took an early lead against West Ham United through a Callum Wilson goal but the visitors restored parity before the break when Lucas Paqueta reacted to a lose ball from Declan Rice’s corner kick to find the back of the net.

5. Tottenham Hotspur

Spurs are just a point away from fourth place Newcastle United, although they have played one more game than the rest of the clubs in the top four position.

Harry Kane’s goal gave the North London side the vital three points they needed against a tough Manchester City.
