It’s an 11th successive defeat for Arsenal against Man City, that sees them slip down into second place in the Premier League log.
A horror show from Takehiro Tomiyasu gifted Kevin De Brunye an opportunity to give Man City the lead at the Emirates stadium, before a late penalty from Bukayo Saka drew Arsenal level in the first half.
After the interval, Man City took complete control of the game and Jack Grealish restored Man City’s lead.
Before Erling Haaland’s low drive effort caught Aaron Rasmdale off guard to give City a deserved 3-1 victory over Arsenal.
The Gunners has now gone four matches with a win in all competition and with tricky away trips to Aston Villa and Leicester City still to come, Mikel Arteta must find away to cut down the current negativity surrounding his squad at the moment.
However, the Gunners still has a game in hand over Man City, despite falling down to second place as a result of the 3-1 defeat suffered against the Citizens. But it is looking likely that overthrowing Man City could prove to difficult for Mikel Arteta’s men.

It was his poor error that gifted Man City an opening goal, even Jack Grealish’s goal deflected off Tomiyasu. It was a terrible night for the Arsenal right back.

He struggled to convert the big chances that came his way against Man City and those missed chances cost Arsenal the game against Pep Guardiola’s Man City.
3. Gabriel Magalhaes
The Brazilian centre-back has been fantastic this season, but he struggled against Man City at the Emirates and most especially Erling Haaland.
