Leicester City took the lead against the run of play in the early minutes of the first half through James Maddison. The midfielder fired past Edouard Mendy from the edge of the box to give his side a 1:0 lead in the 6th minutes.
The Blues look to respond few minutes later, but Kasper Schmiechel tipped Chalobah’s 30 yard strike over the bar. Despite being one goal down, the host took control of possession and they continue to pressure Leicester City’s defence.
Chelsea’s constant pressure eventually paid off as Marcos Alonso fired home a volley from Reece James’ cross to level the scores for his side and it ends all square at halftime.
In the second half, Christian Pulisic had a chance to put the blues in front but he failed to score from right yards out after being left unmarked. Despite having the larger share of possession and most chances, the home side had to settle for a draw after 90 minutes.

As it stands, Everton can safely stay in the English Premier League for next campaign after their 3:2 comeback victory over Crystal Palace while the Blues sealed a third place finish ahead of Matchday 38.
