Goals from Jérémy Doku, Bernardo Silva, and Manuel Akanji gave Manchester City a 3-0 lead in the first half. Silva scored another goal in the second half. Also, Phil Foden and Nathan Aké added one each to seal the 6-1 victory as Luis Sinisterra’s 74th-minute strike was just a consolation for the visitors.

At Goodison Park, Everton ensured that Brighton didn’t leave with a maximum of three points after giving up an early lead to record a 1-1 draw. When Wolves fans thought they would leave Bramall Lane with a draw, frustrated Fábio Silva decided to kick the leg of George Baldock in the penalty box in additional time and earned the hosts a penalty which Oliver Norwood converted to grab the unexpected EPL victory.

Crystal Palace were the only side that recorded an away win this afternoon apart from Manchester United as they beat Burnley 2-0 at Turf Moor.

The first first-half goal from Jeffrey Schlupp and second half goal from Tyrick Mitchell were what the visitors needed for the maximum three points.

At the Gtech Community Stadium, it was rain of goals from both ends as Brentford beat their visitors, West Ham United 3-2.
