So far so good, Man City are still without a trophy in this campaign. They were knocked out of the Champions League by Real Madrid in the semi finals. Liverpool kicked them out of the FA Cup in the semi finals.
They failed to defeat Leicester City in the Community Shield earlier this season. And now, they are competing for the premier league title with Liverpool.
Failure to win their last game against Aston Villa on Sunday, might see the title out of their hands, meaning the club would end this season without a trophy.
If this happens, then it is high time, the manager, Pep Guardiola is sacked from the club. There is no doubt that the manager has been backed by players of top level.
However, despite this backing, he has failed to win the club its first European trophy, and is possibly going to end this season without a trophy.
Man City needs to appoint managers with European pedigree, like Tuchel, Flick, Zidane, Klopp, in order to acquire the champions league trophy.
