Giacamo Raspadori’s goal proved to be the winner for the Italy national football team as they condemn England to last position in Group A3 with 2 points.
Hungary leads the group with 10 points after defeating Germany by 1 goal to nil, followed by Italy in second position with 8 points. Germany sits third with 6 points.
With that being said let’s take a look at the wrong decisions made by Gareth Southgate in today’s game
1. Deploying Harry Kane in the final third ahead of Ivan Toney.
Harry Kane failed to inspire England to a win. He was completely marked out of the game and struggled to make an impact. Brentford striker, Ivan Toney should have started the game ahead of the Spurs man.
2. Phil Foden ahead of James WardProwse.
Phil Foden was wasteful when taking freekicks. A player like James Ward Prowse who could make most of a set piece should have started the game.
